A Childcare Experience Created With Families in Mind

Hi, I’m Saniyah Shipley, the founder and owner of Solèil & Co.

I created Solèil & Co. with one simple idea in mind: childcare should be able to fit into a family’s life—not make life harder.

I have been a childcare provider for over 15 years, and throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work with children and families in a variety of settings. My experience includes working with infants and toddlers, children with special needs, families as a nanny, and children in daycare facilities.

These experiences have taught me that every child is different, and quality childcare begins with understanding each child as an individual.

After years of working in childcare, I wanted to create something of my own—an environment where I could provide the kind of care I believe children deserve while offering families a more flexible option.

I understand that not every family needs or wants traditional full-time childcare. Sometimes parents need a few hours to work, attend an appointment, run errands, handle personal responsibilities, or simply have uninterrupted time during the day.

That’s why I created Solèil & Co.

My goal is to make quality childcare more flexible while creating a warm, welcoming, and nurturing environment for little ones.

My Approach to Childcare

I believe young children deserve more than supervision. They deserve patience, attention, comfort, consistency, and genuine care.

With over 15 years of experience, I bring knowledge from working in different childcare environments and with children with a wide range of personalities, needs, and abilities.

My years of experience have taught me the importance of communication, patience, flexibility, safety, and trust. Those values are at the heart of how I operate Solèil & Co.
